Eagle's Wings Archery has been a member of ARRO since December 1999. The word on how ARRO operates found it's way to our shop via other very happy ARRO pro shops that we often talk to. We are 10M feet in size with sales over 500K. I have not been able to believe the professional manner in which all the staff at ARRO work and conduct business. Distributors 10 times their size would do well to study ARRO and their methods.
I keep waiting for the other show to fall, but so far the service, paper work, pricing and shipping has been on the high side of expectations. Since we are 100% Archery we have to buy right; ARRO has helped us in our efforts to reduce the purchase price of product and this has allowed us to maintain fair, but better margins then in years gone by.

Before joining, we never attended the National Archery Trade Show, but we will not miss one now!

We are an archery pro shop that began 26 years ago. We have grown from a backyard hobby to $400,000 in sales. Our facility now includes over 9000 sq. feet, which includes the pro shop, indoor range with 12 lanes, and an indoor 3D range. We also have an outdoor 80 yard range. We use a computer for inventory and point of sales. We have had many competitors in recent years, but we survive because of our service and customer relationships. We believe that the more time we invest in helping the archer improve, the more the archer will enjoy the sport and in return purchase more equipment.
We first found out about ARRO by attending the Bowhunting Trade Show. The policies for enrollment and prices were very attractive because it was evident that ARRO provided quality services and wanted quality businesses as a part of their group. As a member of ARRO, we are able to provide a wider range of products at good prices, and make great profits, especially at the Hot Show. Year round prices are very good, but the Hot Show provides the dealers with a preview of all the new products at the best prices available. We do the majority of our buying at the Hot Show, which gives us peace of mind because our orders are scheduled and it makes us smile when we see the kind of profits that a dealer can make when taking advantage of the ARRO buying programs. We use the previous years numbers and reference those with the new buying programs that ARRO provides us before the Hot Show. Therefore, most of our work is completed before the show, and all that we have to do is take a look at the new products and finalize the numbers. Central billing by ARRO is great help. By consolidating the invoices we write one check and feel more confident in the billing process. ARRO has helped our pro shop to provide more products and services at better prices to our customers, and has helped us to increase our profits at the same time. We buy from companies that we have never been in contact with, and our customers are amazed at the wide range of inventory that we have in stock and have available to us through ARRO.
The people of ARRO are a pleasure to deal with, and are always looking to help the dealers and asking for input. We feel like we are involved in decision making processes about the organization. The buying group wouldnt exist without the dealers, and ARRO recognizes this by keeping us involved in all processes of the organization. We are from a relatively small town and our gross sales in archery are approximately $160,000. We have been in business for 28 years now and occupy a 1300 sq. foot building. We are an archery only pro shop. We do run our business on a computer and also use the point of sale system. We heard about ARRO from another member in our state and visited the ARRO booth at the trade show. The final factor in deciding to join ARRO was the savings we could make by buying through ARRO and the enthusiastic advice from the other member who recommended we join. We save much more than it costs to join. ARRO gives us the ability of not stocking some items because they are easily available from the office. ARRO is great! Even when we mess up, they dont yell at us! The office people are great to work with, very helpful and friendly. You can save a lot of money just by attending the Hot Show. ARRO opened up dozens of doors that we normally would not be allowed with a shop our size. The Hot Show is great. By getting worksheets ahead of time I can check inventory and give several days thought to my orders.
